The Personal Wheezometer is a medical device for detecting, calculating and showing wheeze as a usable number.

Asthma attacks affect children and adults causing shortness of breath, wheezing and cough. Wheezes are musical sounds associated with airway flow limitation. The Personal Wheezometer, a hand held home device, allows asthma patients to measure their wheeze rate by applying it to the lower neck (adults and older children) or the upper breast bone (infants) for 30seconds. Wheeze rate is already used in Hospitals and Clinics with KarmelSonix's patented technology, accurately assessing asthma severity in a patient.

This medical device accurately detects breathing sounds by non-invasive acoustic means aiming to provide an asthma monitoring and management tool.
